PROFILE Jeffrey
Duplicki is an attorney in the Santa Rosa office and a member of the
Insurance & Coverage Litigation, Civil Litigation, and Corporate,
Commercial & General practice groups. Jeff came to McMillan & Shureen
LLP in 2004 and began working in the areas of insurance defense and coverage,
including environmental and toxic torts matters, labor and employment
defense, construction defect and complex civil litigation matters. He has
litigated matters in several states and has also practiced at the federal and
appellate court level within California. Jeff also has experience
representing municipalities, special districts and elected officials in
matters involving public contracts, litigation, the Brown Act, Conflicts of
Interests, and the Public Records Act. Prior
to entering the practice of law, Jeff was an engineering manager for a major
telecommunications company for several years. There he worked on and designed
large infrastructure projects and was involved with negotiating contractual
agreements with local, state, and federal governments along with private
entities with respect to access and compliance with the Federal
Telecommunications Act of 1996. Jeff
is an active member California Bar Association and of the Sonoma County Bar
Association where he serves on the Executive Committee for the Board of
Director as Treasurer. He has spent many years devoted to the educational
needs of children within his community through his service on various school
district committees and as president of the Windsor Middle School Boosters.
Most recently he was the co-chairman for the "Yes On Measure
B" campaign, a $ 50 million dollar bond campaign for the Windsor School
District which was passed with overwhelming success. Jeff also serves on the
Bond Oversight Committee insuring the bond funds are allocated to projects as
promised to the voters. Jeff
also serves on the Board of Directors, and as counsel, to the local
non-profit chapter of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). CASA is a
national organization dedicated to the needs of neglected and abused children
within the juvenile court system. EDUCATION
